A multi pupose tool that is rapidly becoming known as the “game changer” in the drain cleaning and CIPP (cured in place pipe) industry and our experience is precisely that. What is it exactly? It is a long metal woven shaft with a protective outer sheath driven by a high speed motor (2000rpm to 3500rpm compared to tradional rooters that only spin at about 750rpm). An assortment of expandable cutters like depicted above are used for the job specific task such as de-scaling or removing tree roots from a drain line. Cutting through grease build-up and roots with greater efficiency than traditional snakes and rooters, it acheives this by allowing the drain technician to visually see the cutter tip with a cctv sewer inspection camera whilst in opperation, something previously not possible. Expanding cutters allow for full and total cleaning of the drain even when the clean out access is limited in size giving our customers by far unmatched results. There are limitations however, large plugs of roots are best rooted out first and then finished off with either the high speed flexshaft or hydro-jetter to fully remove the rest. This equipment is always used in conjunction with our drain camera and gives our clients an opportunity to what we like to call “see the clean” technology, giving peace of mind that their drains are fully flowing at the optimal rate. I am able to clarify how drainage inspections will help to find where the problem is on the system and even the source of problems related to blockages or breaks. It would also be a smart idea for someone to look for nearby contractors to study their practices if they needed an inspection of water. You should find a system that has the expertise, experience, and equipment to review the system properly and find bugs so that they can be correctly resolved.

I agree. If you want to ensure the lifespan of your sewer line, then inspections are the key. Regular inspections, along with maintenance, can help to avoid an untimely sewer line replacement, by keeping your sewer line in good repair and avoiding severe damage by catching small issues before they become big ones.

I find it interesting when you said that there would b great results when expanding cutters are used to achieve a full and total cleaning for the drains. I might need that kind of service for the clogged pipes in my toilet and shower area. A clogged drain cleaning service is definitely needed now I noticed how slow they take to flush down the liquid and solid waste.
