Frequently Asked Questions
What is hydro jetting
Hydro jetting is a technique used by professional plumbers and drain cleaning specialists primarily to clear tough blockages in sewer and drain pipes. A flexible hose is inserted into the clogged drain and a stream of water (or jet) at high pressure flows out a nozzle at the tip of the hose, removing stubborn clogs, scale and grease build-up. Hydro jetting uses pressures of 3000psi up to around 5000psi and variable amounts of water flow to safely and effectively flush out any debris from the pipes.
what is the purpose of a sewer camera inspection
A sewer and drain camera inspection is usually performed by a plumbing or drain technician in order to verify the condition of a drain pipe. A special waterproof camera attached to a long flexible rod is inserted into the drain line through an access point while the footage is viewed on a large screen by the technician. Problems such as misaligned joints, root ingress, cracks or corrosion can be identified and documented. A copy of the camera inspection can be recorded via a USB stick for future reference.
How do i know if my main drain is clogged
When your main drain is clogged, you may experience toilets gurgling after they are flushed, water can overflow the bowl and be unable to drain sometimes backing up into a bathtub, shower or even a floor drain. If all the fixtures in your home have difficulty draining, especially those on the lower level of your home you may have a main drain clog.
